Bienvenidos! Children of all Ages....... |
|
Whether you are visiting for the first time, drop in from time to time, or call Madison Square your church home, you and your children are welcome in our diverse and inclusive fellowship. Your child's safety is our top priority while you are here at the church. Our children's ministry team of staff caregivers and trained volunteers work together to ensure that your children are engaged in age appropriate activities in a secure environment. Additionally, we are dedicated to fostering an environment of faith formation that welcomes all children as uniquely gifted of God, honors their questions and encourages their growth as whole persons. We hope to see you often! |

| MSqPC Adopts Children and Youth Safety Policy |
|
Madison Square Presbyterian Church is adopting a supervision policy that promotes the safety and well-being of children and youth, protects volunteers and staff working with children and youth, and lowers legal risk to the church. The policy provides clear instructions from the Session about the operation of the children and youth ministries at Madison Square Presbyterian Church.
As a church, we believe that the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of children and youth is
vital. This policy is intended to ensure that church activities involving children and youth are consistent with the teachings and example of Jesus Christ, and fulfill the promise we make to our children at their baptism.

Spring is a time to plant things and watch them grow!

Children's Church - Preschool and Elementary aged Children
Children's Church is what we call the time we spend up on the 3rd floor with the children during that most adult part of the worship service. We begin worship with our families in the sanctuary. Following the Children's Moment our children's ministry leaders take the children upstairs to share a Bible story, pray together and enjoy our favorite activity centers. The children return to the sanctuary at the close of the worship service, and for communion the first Sunday of each month.
