We are glad you have stopped by for a visit. Below are some typical questions and some basic information about Madison Square Presbyterian Church. What time is worship?
Worship begins at 10:50 AM on Sunday, and is typically done by Noon (give or take 5 minutes).
What should I wear?
Whatever makes you comfortable. You will see people in everything from suits to shorts.
Is there parking?
Yes, there is free parking behind the church. You can enter the parking lot off Quincy St. or Lexington Ave.
Is there Sunday School? What about my kids?
Yes. Sunday school for all ages is from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. Kids begin in worship until the Children’s Time, after which, kids up through 3rd grade go to the education building for Children’s Church. Child care for the youngest is available beginning at 9:30 through the end of worship.
What’s the music like?
It’s hard to describe in words – so your best bet is to come to one or more Sundays to get the full flavor of the music ministry at Madison Square. The music ranges from traditional hymns to gospel music. The choir has been known to sing a Beatle’s song every now and again. Madison Square also has one of the best pipe organs in San Antonio.
Do you serve Communion?
Communion is most typically celebrated on the first Sunday of each month and is open to all.
