Welcome! Here’s what to expect

We are glad you have stopped by for a visit. Below are some typical questions and some basic information about Madison Square Presbyterian Church. If you have a question that isn’t answered here or elsewhere on the website, please call us at 210-226-6254 or email us at church@msqpc.org.

What time is worship?
Worship begins at 10:50 a.m. Sundays and services typically end by noon (give or take five minutes).

What should I wear?
Whatever makes you comfortable. You will see people in everything from suits to shorts.

Is there parking?
Yes, there is free parking behind the church. You can enter the parking lot off Quincy Street or Lexington Avenue.

Is there Sunday School? What about my kids?
Childcare is available. Sunday school for all ages is from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

What’s the music like?
It’s hard to describe. Your best bet is to come to one or more Sundays to get the full flavor of the music ministry at Madison Square. The music ranges from traditional hymns to gospel music, and the choir has been known to sing a Beatle’s song every now and again. Madison Square also has one of the best pipe organs in San Antonio.

Do you serve Communion?
Communion is most typically celebrated on the first Sunday of each month and is open to all.
