How to join MSPC for on-line worship
How to join Madison Square Presbyterian Church for on-line worship
On your phone
You can dial in to worship and listen over your phone. Each week an email is sent out for Zoom worship (this is the software platform we use to stream worship). There are a list of several phone numbers that will allow you to call in and hear the service over your phone. These will be long-distance numbers if you are using a landline.
On your computer using Zoom
This option, if you have a good internet connection at home and access to a computer or tablet, is probably the best quality in terms of picture and sound. You will need to download the Zoom app to your computer or tablet (www.zoom.us). Each week an email is sent that includes a link for the worship service. Just click that link and it should open your app. If that doesn’t work, you can also open the Zoom app directly and input the meeting ID (also found in the email).
If you have a Facebook account, you can also access the worship on the Madison Square Facebook page (www.facebook.com/msqpc). The service is streamed live on Sundays. There have been some technical difficulties over the last several weeks, so sometimes the feed gets interrupted or there is a delay in the start. If you do not find us live on Facebook, you are encouraged to try Zoom. A recording of the worship service will also be on Facebook if you are not able to join us during the regular worship time.
Madison Square Presbyterian Church also has a YouTube channel. We do not stream the service live on YouTube, but you can find recordings of worship that you can watch whenever you are able. The recordings usually will be available later on Sunday or sometime on Monday. You can find our YouTube channel by searching on “Madison Square Presbyterian Church.” You can also subscribe to our channel and, if you like, you can also request to receive an email whenever a new video is added.
On the Madison Square Presbyterian Church website
Beginning in May, you will be able to access worship live on the website or see the most recent recordings of worship. Simply visit www.msqpc.org and click on the worship tab to view worship.
Get a “ride” to worship
Finally, if all of this seems overwhelming, you can have a friend log in to worship by phone, and then call you and conference you into the worship so you can listen together. All you need to do is answer the phone!
If you have any questions about any of these options, or if you would like to explore the “get a ride to church” option, please contact Pastor Bart at email@example.com or 210-551-1136 and we will connect you with someone who can help.
