Children’s Ministry
Whether you are visiting for the first time, drop in from time to time, or call Madison Square your church home, you and your children are welcome in our diverse and inclusive fellowship.
We are dedicated to fostering an environment of Christian faith formation that welcomes all children as uniquely gifted by God, honors their questions, and encourages their growth as whole persons. We hope to see you often!
Nursery care is available for infants and young children beginning at 9:30 a.m. through worship hour on the third floor of the Education Building.
Sunday School is out for the summer and new classes will start again in the fall.
Worship with Children
At Madison Square, we encourage all children to be present for worship. A nursery attendant is available to care for your child in our nursery.
During the service, there is a Children’s Moment when children of all ages are invited forward to sit on the steps with the pastor for a special lesson.
Special Events
- Children’s Epiphany Pageant: The children of Madison Square lead worship on the first Sunday of the year with a retelling of the Wise Men’s journey to find the Christ Child. There is a part for everyone!
- Easter in the Park: We share the joy of Easter with an Easter morning celebration in Madison Square Park across Camden Street from the church.
- Vacation Bible School: We look forward to this week of engaged learning, recreation, and faith building all year long. Vacation Bible School is open to children ages four through sixth grade.
